Grand Cirque
“Le Grand Cirque” is a visual feast of breathtaking group
acrobatics and white-knuckle stunts and has been described as
“The next generation of Cirque Du Soleil.” Featuring more than
40 champion acrobats and performers from Brazil, Canada, Russia,
Mongolia, Europe and China, the performers have been hand-picked
from around the world for their amazing abilities and precision
skill. The result is a fast-paced, heart-pounding spectacle that
will astound and keep the audience at the edge of their seats
with contortionists, tumblers and incredible aerial acts. This
international entertainment attraction is premiering the entire
summer in Grand Boulevard’s Town Center Tuesday – Saturday at 8
p.m. and a few 2 p.m. matinee shows to include Sunday.

Each week, the village will crown a king and queen to throw
moonpies and candy to the crowd. Then, as a special treat, our
king and queen will begin the fireworks show. Every Tuesday at
9:15pm the village hosts a fireworks show over the lagoon.
Participation in Mini Gras is free. Enjoy the Bouncy Castle and
other inflatables with purchase of a $10 wristband. Wristbands
will be sold from 7-9pm and activities will stay open until
10pm. |

Rising from the back yards of Okaloosa County, Florida, Heritage
broke into the pop/reggae scene in 2009. Formed in 2007,
starting with three guys in a backyard with a ukulele and a set
of bongos, they played just for fun with family and friends.
Before they knew it, they were performing locally bringing both
a flavor and appeal to the masses. |

The premier tournament for Northwest
Florida Gulf Coast, the Seafood Festival Golf Classic, returns
to Indian Bayou Golf Course on Sept. 10-11. It is designed to
draw competitive players from across our region for two days of
play. The format will be two-man teams, best ball. The
tournament will be flighted at the completion of the first
round.
A portion of the team fees will be donated to the Destin
Fishermen’s Fund.
